Friday night was my first time hanging out with ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha.
My coworker Roni invited me out to a jacksonville club with her college sorority sisters.
All alumnae of Florida A&M, their sorority recently conferred honorary membership to the First Lady of the United States.

Despite waiting outside in line for a club that ended up being full to capacity. It's too bad my dance moves weren't put to the test. Next time.

- At the beginning of my 29th year I said to myself: "Self, I need to wrap up my twenties in a memorable way." Upon the suggestion of Professor A.A. Marsh, I decided to do one new thing each day for one year, from the day of my 29th birthday to my 30th birthday. I will record each new thing on this blog. I've got some ideas but I'll need a lot more; 365 days means a lot of novel experiences to come up with. If you read this, and you can think of a new thing I can do, please let me know. With your help, the last lap of my twenties will be the best one.
